The guy that came up with this deserves a place in heaven.
Looks like a good solutions for multi-touch displays.
It wouldn’t surprise me if this becomes as widely used as T9.
As this is from one of the inventors of T9, I’m pretty sure he has got his tracks covered regarding his Intellectual Property. So my guess is, that before he announced this, that he already applied for a patent.
So it will probably be like, if somebody wants to use this idea on their mobile phones (nokia for example) or within their touchtablets that they pay a license fee to these guys.
