NUITEQ’s Ecuadorian Partner Skyluft, installed several multi-touch systems with a customized version of Snowflake in Claro retail stores in the cities Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador.
Claro is the largest mobile phone network in the Americas. It is part of the Mexican telecom group América Móvil which is one of the four largest mobile phone network operators in the world, with more than 200 million customers. It serves clients in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.
The solution that Skyluft delivered allows the telecom brand Claro to engage with customers in a novel and exciting way.
Skylufts and NUITEQ’s combined solution offers the opportunity to Claro to futuristically showcase their BlackBerry product portfolio.
Skyluft created an uniquely customized Claro/BlackBerry branded look and feel solution without the need for any programming skill, as Snowflake offers the possibility to easily customize content simply be replacing images, backgrounds, photos, logos, pdf brochures etc.

Colombia based Interactos Media, created a big format replica of the 9300 BB model, integrating the design and product of the outer box as well as the technical integration.
The video below shows the product that Interactos Media created for BlackBerry and the subsidiary of America Movil in Colombia (COMCEL).
The software content is based on NUITEQ’s award-winning multi-touch software product Snowflake Suite, which allowed for the perfect match of content and exciting interactive applications that let the final user go through an enriched experience of the brand and product benefits.
The great aspect of it all is that this uniquely customized branded look and feel was created for BlackBerry with no programming skills required, as the content such as backgrounds, images, logos, videos and pdf files can easily be integrated.
Several of these systems are now on tour around the most important super markets in Bogota, Colombia.

NUITEQ has released the Snowflake Suite 2.0.7 version update
Changes include:
- Added translation support to Map
- Added possibility to specify map tile dimensions in Map
- Added translation support to Tap
- Added a different grid layout to the PDF Viewer menu
- Fixed issue with the sliding menu when its y position is changed
- Fixed issue in Registration with certain characters
- Fixed issue in PDF Viewer when closing the app while a PDF is still loading
- Fixed PDF loading on Mac
- Fixed PDF pageflip animation on Mac
- Fixed video support in Slider
- Fixed custom icon support in Slider
- Fixed extension support in Media Viewer (now works with mixed upper and lower case)
- Fixed corner menu icon being flipped in Browser
If you have already installed Snowflake Suite 2.0 or a later version on your system, you can simply update to the latest 2.0.7 version by using the Auto Updater that comes pre-installed with Snowflake.
